What is Talview Interview?

In the quest for my dream job, I encountered Talview Interview, an innovative platform that specializes in video interviews, assessments, and proctoring.

How can You Ace up the Interview?

Let’s go into detail about how to ace these interviews.

This will be in three stages;

  • Before the interview
  • Prepping answers
  • During the interview

Before the Interview, you should take care of the basics. Being on Camera is very different from the face-to-face Interview. The reality is, it doesn’t matter what You think you look like what really matters is how the computer interprets you.

To be on the right track, you can follow the steps that I will outline. Here are the steps.

  • Raise your Camera up the eye level. This simulates face-to-face conversations rather than looking down on your laptop.
  • Tidy your background or angle your camera to where your background looks great.
  • Lighting: Dark backgrounds don’t look good in the interview. Avoid mirrors, Windows, and bright lights.
  • Record a video of yourself and check the audibility of your video and how you look. If it’s great you are good to go.
  • Lastly, your dress code should reflect the industry you are applying to.

Preparing your answers.

Search for the corporate values of the company you are applying to, then match those values to your experience.

Using your prep time effectively. Once you start your Interview there will be a timer to prepare for your answer and it is typically 30 seconds. For easy prepping, Match your experience to the question.

Time to answer your question! What do you do?

The first thing to keep in mind is to speak with passion and energy. Make sure to be very enthusiastic while answering your questions. It is also very hard to maintain eye contact on your computer. Well, you can place a sticker on your screen just to remind you where you should be looking.

If you get nervous, just look down on your notes and you will be good to go.

The last tip I have for you is that, Confidence is key! As for me, I practice to boost my confidence. It is up to you to know how you can approach your confidence.

 Common Talview Questions

Talview interview questions follow a certain pattern. You might be thinking of how can the questions be common and yet job companies are different.  This is because Talview Questions fall into one of the three categories.
