By September 1, 2022, 98% of critical care settings will have implemented initial and ongoing training on smart pumps into acute care settings to decrease the incidence of medication errors.

The aim was to ensure medics prevented medical errors from occurring in critical care settings. The cause that needs to be reduced is the incidence of medical mistakes in necessary care settings. Acute care settings would ensure children under the age of 12 years to be assisted for referral services. Achievable medical processes are chosen because they prevent errors from being received in the medical field. Hospitals can reduce medical errors by allocating resources, time, educating, and training medics (Bacon & Hoffman, 2020). Also, a phased approach for changing the old system to the new one would involve new software in the medical organization. The old system information is updated and stored in the computers is significant for preventing intravenous fusion errors that would affect the functioning of intelligent pumps (Wiseman Et al., 2018). Medics would enhance changes in the management of health records to prevent medical errors from being made. Medical errors pose problems that can interfere with the overall performance of an organization.

Smart pumps would prevent dosing errors when attending to patients (Berndt & Steinheiser, 2021). Updating the doses to be taken would be received on the notification of the innovative pump. Hospitals can achieve the numerical goal of achieving 98% of critical care settings via software development on intelligent pumps. Making changes that involve reducing medical errors from smart pumps needs to be accomplished. Medics would achieve the goal of the organization by September 1st, 2022. The time would provide enough time to ensure changes are made in the intelligent pumps to realize medical improvements. The intelligent pumps have been accepted after the participation of collaborations of students, teachers, and medics. Students and physicians would benefit from the changes that would make medical errors be prevented. Acute care settings need to be implemented to reduce medical errors using infusion pumps (Gao Et al., 2019). Hospitals would achieve improvement of the health care settings via improving infusion pumps numbers.
