Today we are going to study how we can control the growth of microbial organisms in an environment. Therefore, we are going to consider a scenario of surrounding that is untidy and humid since it creates the necessary condition for the growth and development of microbes. For instance, if an individual collects water from a cool environment or soil, microorganisms like protozoa, algae, or fungi can experience increased growth. Once tested in any laboratory, such waters can exude the presence of microbes as being positive. Again any stale food particles can harbor microbes. Therefore it is essential to understand that harmful microbes cause various diseases, some of which pose a severe impact on victims.

However, no one should be worried about the presence of the microbes since they can be eliminated if necessary procedures are followed. Firstly, one can choose to sundry any item which is exhibiting moist conditions. Again, boiling and cooling food particles tend to eliminate the microbes found in food. Pasterauziation is another technique that is applied to certain foods like milk. Particular foods like sauce and pickle can be eliminated from any microbes by dipping them in oil, excess sugar, or salt (Kirchman 285). The latter tends to dehydrate any water particles, thus suffocating the microbes to death.

Chemical methodologies can also be utilized in the elimination of microbes. For instance, disinfectants and antiseptic solutions eliminate microbes in totality. Moreover, vinegar, which is used in the preservation of food, Dettol used to disinfect wounds and phenyl utilized in cleaning floors, serves as perfect examples. Chlorine is useful in cleansing water, and scientifically kills any microbes that may be present (Kirchman 290). Ordinarily, we are used to disinfectants like detergents and bar soaps that function to eliminate microbes in our clothes. Antibiotics medicinal components eliminate traces of microbes in the body.
