In ancient Egypt, the Pharaohs were the Supreme leaders of the land. They ruled both the upper and lower Egypt. They also acted as religious and political leaders. King Narmer was a great ancient Egyptian King who was considered as the unifier of Egypt at the start of the first dynastic period. He is also known to be the founder of the first dynasty which is the capital of Memphis. Before his reign, Egypt was divided into two parts Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. He came up with significant trade with the neighboring southern Canaan as well as the other neighboring countries. It was also during his reign that many religious symbols came to be.
His palette which was about 64 cm tall depicted all his accomplishments. On one side, he is shown sacrificing his defeat in a celebration. On the other side, he is shown wearing the two crowns of Egypt which have been combined into one.
King Tut ruled Egypt as a Pharaoh for ten years. In his reign, the most notable event was when he reversed the tumultuous religious reforms of his father. King Tut was not known until a British archaeologist discovered his tomb which had been sealed for more than three thousand years. The tomb contained artifacts and treasures that were intended to walk into the afterlife with the king. These treasures made King Tut the most famous pharaoh in the world because of the royalty that they portrayed.
The popularity of king tut was because of the intactness of his tomb and the valuables found from his rule. And apart from bringing back the gods that his father had abolished, he rose to be pharaoh at a tender age of only nine years old.
