Why Female Gang Members Join Gangs
Gangs comprise groups of people who share a common identity and are mostly known to engage in criminal activities. There are various groups of gangs ranging from hate groups, motorcycle gangs, terrorist organizations (Coleman & McDonald, 2018). In the past, gangs comprised male members, a quality which has changed in the recent past where more females are engaged. This research is aimed at identifying the reasons why most females join gangs. The questionnaires comprise ten open-ended questions to help in channeling the information.

Question 1: When did you join the gang? At what age?
Question 2: How did you join, like did you know any members before joining, or were they entirely new for you?
Question 3: who were you living with before joining the gang?
Question 4: What was your childhood like in terms of family and school life?
Question 5: How differently do the rest of the gang members treat you compared to your family?
Question 6: were you bullied, harassed, or raped when you were young?
Question 7: how many more females are there in your gang and the difference between being a female gang member and a male.
Question 8: How would you compare your life before and after joining the gang in terms of security?
Question 9: What are some of the tasks you have had to do as a gang member?
Question 10: would you want to leave the gang, and why would you like to? If not, why would you not want to?
