List and define the five core emotions.            

            They include anger, disgust, joy, fear, and sadness. Anger is an emotion that triggers fights, and individuals experiencing anger show physical conditions such as elevated blood pressure and even increased heart rates (Burton, 2019). The emotion of fear is induced by perceived threat or danger, and it causes behavior change such as hiding or freezing. The emotion of joy is defined as a feeling of happiness and pleasure. Disgust is a feeling that is aroused by something that is unpleasant. The feeling of being unhappy, with regret or misery is called sadness.

List and define the four fundamental values of ethical persuasion.

            The principle of reciprocation is one of the fundamentals of ethical persuasion, and it means that a person is obligated to give back to what you give them first. The principle of reciprocation is used in sales and marketing. The principle requires that one person tries to repay what the other person has provided (Cialdini, 2019). Principle of scarcity is the other fundamental, and it states that people want more of what they can get less of.  The next is the principle of authority, which states that people want to follow legitimate experts. Therefore, it requires business owners to position themselves as an authority. Lastly is the principle of commitment and consistency, which states that individuals have the ability to live up to what they write down.

Explain the two fundamental types of power in a relationship.

            There are two types of power in a relationship, that is, power over and personal power. Power over show individuals that they are in control and dominance over the other party involved. Individuals who believe in power over expect to get what they want (Singer, 2017). Personal mastery involves mutuality and co-creation, and it is known for promoting growth, helping one another achieve their goals and show empathy.
