Introduction
Culture refers to the configuration of learned behaviors, results and components that are shared or passed on by members of a particular society. In the current modern society that is characterized by continued globalization, most of the societal aspects including religion, energy, economics and political stability are all influenced by different cultures. A variety of cultures form the cores of society life as they influence values, views, worries and loyalties. Learning about different cultures has a number of benefits from building relationships with people to having an understanding and perspectives of a particular culture. Generally, this is important in understanding how the different cultures influence aspects of globalization in the society. This paper will present an argumentative discussion highlighting and explaining the importance of learning about other cultures.
Globalization and Cultural Variability
The current society requires for people with different cultural backgrounds to work together in the achievement of common goals. In the different fields like economics and religion, harmony is important between different people. In many different ways, globalization as well as economic development is increasingly promoting interdependency and building of international relations between countries and nation states (Gajic, Vujadinovic & Popovic, 2017). In turn, it proves that cultural diversity is linked to all aspects in the society as it ensures that people from different regions become more connected while at the same time preserving their cultural identities. Additionally, different cultures do ensure that mutual interests are met through cooperation and considerations of various values like development, prosperity and democracy.

Perspective building and Accepting Diversity
For society and the international community to achieve great strides in development, different communities and people are required to build on strong relations to attain significant changes (Tremblay, 1992). This can only be achieved by first learning about the cultures that characterize different societies and acknowledging them. In different cultures, there is existence of perspectives that are particularly unique and that different people can benefit from. This include indigenous problem solving skills, customs and ideas.
Promotion of an Equitable Society
Equality is an important aspect that needs to be addressed when dealing with globalization and economic development (Fu & Chiu, 2007). Learning about cultures help in the identification of the strengths of different people. Once this is done, the people can be included during processes of decision making ensuring equality. With equal societal participation and benefit allocation, it becomes easier make programs and policies effective.
Global Awareness and Positive Influence
In studying about different societal cultures, positive influence and global awareness is achieved. Learning about this cultures ensures that issues like government policies, human rights injustices and access to education are all addressed. Global awareness on culture is continuously ensuring that there is tolerance and understanding between people. With improved relations between nations, opportunities for development, employment and access to education are all increased (Fu & Chiu, 2007). Moreover, this benefits are all realized while at the same time respecting and preserving cultures.
With development leading to advancement in innovations and technology, documenting different world cultures impacts positively in terms of sharing information and cultural representation (Gajic, Vujadinovic & Popovic, 2017). The identity of different cultures helps in their preservation as well as providing a learning platform through use of the media. Alternatively, the digital media can promote the restoration of endangered cultures. The increased positive influence does guarantee for the empowerment of different cultures through use of economic, political and social networks.
